An analytical and strategic energy professional with deep knowledge of the energy sector in Latvia and the Baltic Sea region.

His experience includes roles as Chairman and Member of the Supervisory Board of the Public Utilities Commission, Auditor General at the State Audit Office of Latvia, and positions at ACER, CEER, and OECD.

He has been a sworn advocate and lawyer for Latvijas Banka and the private sector. He holds an Executive MBA from Riga Business School (RTU) and has volunteered for military service in the Latvian National Guard.
