Amber is the International Public Affairs Manager for Centre for Net Zero.
Centre for Net Zero is a not-for-profit, impact-driven energy research institute established by Octopus Energy Group. Operating autonomously, CNZ design and implement research and field trials worldwide to gather and democratise data about the future of energy.
With extensive experience in the UK government, Amber has held various strategy and policy roles in both domestic and international contexts. Most recently, she contributed to the UK’s Net Zero Strategy, coordinating efforts across government to make progress on the country’s legislated Carbon Budgets.
Additionally, Amber has covered the Energy, Net Zero and Environment brief in the No. 10 Delivery Unit, and on the independent Net Zero Review alongside former Energy Minister Chris Skidmore.
