Guy Nicholson is Head of Zero Carbon Grid Solutions at Statkraft in the UK and has worked in renewable energy for over forty years.
His experience spans wind turbine design, grid integration, electrical engineering, project development, and regulatory policy.
Since joining the organisation in 2018, Statkraft has taken a leading role as a developer of Greener Grid Parks – innovative solutions to stabilise Great Britain’s electricity grid.
His previous roles include Grid Manager at Element Power, Head of Grid at RenewableUK, and founder and CEO of Econnect Ltd, specialist in the connection of renewable energy to grids. Guy holds a Bachelor of Science, Engineering from Newcastle University.
