Dr John Massey is an internationally renowned clean energy technology & business analyst, with over 25 years’ commercial experience in industry research, analysis, intelligence and training.

He undertakes his own research and analysis of technology innovations and trends, taking a global and systems approach which interconnects technological details with regulatory environments and drivers, market structures, investment drivers and returns, socioeconomic issues, cross-sector integrations & public acceptance.
His core expertise and focus is on the growth of clean power, including the solutions which increasingly sit alongside and balance renewable sources of supply: including energy storage, ‘smart’ systems (e.g. grids, distributed assets, dispatchable demand), and green hydrogen.
He has helped senior businesspeople in over 30 countries across 5 continents, representing a wide variety of organisations from innovative start-ups to the world’s biggest corporations.
